‍We have been working together for over 8 years. 8 years now that she has been going back and forth between Barbados and our beautiful island of Martinique We each have our place in this collaboration that unites us. She meticulously takes care of the installations and installations when she is in Martinique and when she leaves, I take over.

“ Lisa always wanted to create A locking technique that requires little maintenance and little time investment while having versatility and elegance. Her journey began 17 years ago when she invested in herself by setting up. Following her installation, she followed her first certification training in locks in the United States.
She then opened her salon in Barbados. and started to develop its customer base there.

I met him when I wanted to install my locks andThere was no no one in Martinique or Guadeloupe who proposed it.
‍Having already lived in Barbados, I looked for a consultant there and came across Lisa. Contact was made with her right away.

I travelled with my husband and my 6-month-old baby and When I came back I FINALLY had my locks. Problem: Nobody in Martinique could maintain them...So I asked Lisa if she would agree to Come and work in Martinique, 1 time per month.
She accepted and we gradually worked together to develop its business on our island

‍1 year later, I also trained in order to be able to replace Lisa if one day she could not come to Martinique (which happened with covid). During this period, Lisa had time to create your own locking technique, patent it and set up a training course in hairdressing locks to allow anyone from Martinique or the Caribbean who wishes to do so to train without having to travel to France or the United States

Today, Lisa and I work together and describe ourselves as not just associates, but as actually part of the same family “

“I met Clarisse in 2014 and we instantly felt a Strong connection between us, As if we had known each other forever

‍I remember picking her up at her house and we were going to buy porridge together very early in the night. I started doing my hair at 4 am. from morning until midnight and this for 2 days in a row, so we had to get some strength for the intense hairstyling day that awaited us.

‍She came to Barbados because there was no one at that time to make her the very particular type of locks she wanted. So she came to do her installation and came back every month to be able to do her tightening for about 6 months. One day she asked me if I wanted to come to Martinique. to propose this service and this unique technique that no one knew or at least did not yet offer “

“In 2017, I created MonalisaLocsTM 🎉

It took me a bit of time to launch my business but covid arrived and gave me the little push I needed to launch my own brand on the market. When I told Clarisse that I had launched my brand and registered my own locs technique, she was just as excited and thrilled as I was. We have been working together for 8 years now and we are both really very involved in MonalisaLocsTM, which we consider to be our baby.

We went through the stages one by one and I thank God every day for allowing me to meet and get to know Clarisse.
I have never met someone so true, honest, pleasant, pleasant, hard-working, ambitious and such a beautiful person, inside and out
